ONDEWO is one of “Austria’s Born Global Champion” 2020

The President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO), Dr. Harald Mahrer, awarded young Austrian companies that have made a special contribution to our economy through their internationalization successes.

Since the very beginning of ONDEWO’s journey, we have worked on an international level. We believe that an international approach accelerates the growth of our AI product and business. 2020 has shown that this mindset pays off: ONDEWO was awarded as one of Austria’s Born Global Champions.

This award was created for young companies that meet the following criteria:

Were founded in 2014 or later
Operate globally from the very beginning

Offer innovative products and services
Show rapid international growth

About “Austria’s Born Global Champions” Initiative

The “Born Global Champions” companies are characterized by their innovative product ideas and their strong focus on international markets. These companies contribute significantly to Austria’s export economy and to Austria as a business location at a very early stage of their existence.

In achieving the goal of being internationally active right from the start, AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT AUSTRIA offers committed companies a range of attractive services. The offers range from market entry research to pitching days in international innovation hot spots to incubator programs lasting several months. Also, the Chamber of Commerce, in cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Digitization and Economic Location (BMDW), offers further programs to support the “Born Globals” as part of the “go-international” initiative.

Hello IÖB Summercalls!

We followed the call of the BMK and the BMDW and submitted our innovative solution to the IÖB Summercalls.

The IÖB Summercalls offers businesses with innovative solutions the possibility to present their innovations and get in touch with the public sector. The IÖB awarded seal allows us to present our innovative AI solution on the IÖB Innovation Platform. So we can spread the word about how our ONDEWO Call Center AI can support a lot of industries, ranging from energy to logistics, finance, and of course the public sector. We help businesses as well as the public sector to improve their efficiency and accelerate their digital transformation.

To be honored with this award you have to submit your innovation and let it get evaluated by a jury of experts. The IÖB expert jury reviews and considers the entire submission documents and evaluates them on the following criteria:

Level of development
Degree of innovation
Applicability in public administration
Ecological sustainability
Economic potential
Social added value
Suitability

About the IÖB Innovation Platform

The IÖB Innovation Platform is addressing innovative companies, public purchasers, and those interested in innovation-promoting public procurement. With the IÖB Innovation Platform, the IÖB Service Center is building a bridge for public sector clients and innovative companies. The aim is to connect them in order to keep the public sector modern, efficient, and close to the citizens through public procurement that promotes innovation.
